Crepes Divine

I first had this version of Crepes at a restaurant in Canada. I've been dreaming about them ever since...and have made them a few times. They're soooo good. You can use a crepe recipe that you like or this one I like.
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Nutella
Fresh Strawberries
Bananas
Whip Cream

Directions:
1. Combine flour, milk, eggs, oil, and salt in a blender and blend!
2. Warm a skillet over medium heat and grease with a little butter
3. Pour some batter in the skillet and swirl around to make a nice circle, dont make it to big unless you can flip really well.
4. Flip when there are bubbles on the top of batter
5. Remove from skillet and immediatly spread with Nutella, put some fresh strawberries and bananas then roll it up. Top with whip cream!

These are DIVINE ladies and are perfect treat for guests!

Potato Soup

Since the weather has turned I've been craving soup. I pulled the basic recipe for this off of recipezaar, but I ended up changing it quite a bit.

4 cups cubed and peeled potatoes
1 1/2 cups water
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon, or 3 cubes
1/2 cup chopped carrot
1/4 cup chopped onion (finely)
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
2 cups half-n-half
3 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 cup grated smoked gouda cheese
3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese

1. In pot combine potatoes, water, chicken bouillon, carrot, onion, salt, pepper, butter, and rosemary.
2. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender (15-20).
3. Turn off heat so that the milk doesn't curdle. Add 3 1/2 cups of the milk and half-n-half, heat until hot.
4. Blend flour with 1/2 cup milk and half-n-half stirring till smooth, then stir in soup.
5. Cook, stirring constantly, slowly adding cheese, until smooth and bubbly. If you want you can reserve some of the cheese to put on each serving.

I know the smoked gouda is a weird addition but it's great!!!
